Welcome to the homepage of Shalini Gupta’s lab in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi. We are an interdisciplinary group of people working in the area of molecular biotechnology and nanoscale materials for sensing and advanced biomedical applications. Our lab is dedicated to developing new engineering approaches for ultrasensitive detection of disease biomarkers, colloidal manipulation and assembly, and synthesis of new functional materials with wide implications in areas of medical diagnosis and multiscale targeted therapy. Our long-term vision is to provide simple and affordable solutions to improve human health.
